dB Acoustic Lag 100 is a high-mass acoustic lagging product designed to improve the sound insulation and absorption of pipes, ductwork, panels and similar building-service assemblies.
The product combines a dense 10kg/m² acoustic barrier with a fibreglass quilt and a Class 0 aluminium foil facing. This multi-layer construction helps reduce sound transmission while remaining soft and flexible enough to conform closely around existing structures.
dB Acoustic Lag 100 is suitable for demanding residential, commercial and industrial applications where pipe noise, duct breakout noise or vibration through lightweight panels needs to be controlled.

Pipes, ductwork and lightweight panels can radiate airborne noise into adjoining rooms and occupied spaces. dB Acoustic Lag 100 adds significant mass directly to the existing structure, helping resist sound transmission.
The fibreglass quilt provides an additional absorptive layer, while the flexible construction allows the product to fit closely around the original surface. The aluminium foil facing protects the acoustic build-up and provides a durable outer finish.

For best results, cover the service continuously and seal every joint. Gaps, loose sections or unsealed edges can reduce the overall acoustic performance of the installation.
Seal joints, overlaps and exposed edges in the dB Acoustic Lag 100 system using our heat and light reflective aluminium foil tape.
Seals acoustic lagging joints and vapour barriers for a neat, professional finish.
dB Acoustic Lag 100 can be used in houses, flats, apartment developments, hotels, offices, schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, factories and plant rooms where pipe, duct or machinery noise needs to be controlled.
