Frequently Asked Questions

How much does sound testing cost?

The initial residential sound test visit is £391.66 ex VAT. Additional sound tests during the same visit are charged at £100 ex VAT each.

How much notice do I need to give?

We recommend allowing 7 to 10 working days’ notice when booking your test.

Do you cover my area?

Standard pricing covers England and South Wales, subject to location. Areas outside the standard coverage area may still be available on a POA basis.

Can I add Part L or Part F testing?

Yes, where practical, Part L air permeability testing and Part F ventilation flow testing can be arranged during the same site visit. These will be quoted separately.

What happens after I book?

Once your order is placed, we will review the details and confirm availability with our sound testing partner. Your final appointment will be confirmed as soon as possible.
