Product Information
Finish exposed gym flooring edges with a TerraFit grey fleck ramp edge. The tapered rubber profile creates a gradual transition between the raised tile surface and the adjoining floor, reducing trip hazards from an abrupt step at open edges and entrances.
Each ramp is 1m long and is available in 20mm or 30mm height options. Choose the height to match your TerraFit tile and the finished floor level.
Choose the right ramp height

The height refers to the raised edge beside the tile; the ramp slopes down towards the adjoining floor. These options are not a height match for the 15mm TerraFit Square tile. If an underlay raises the whole gym floor, check the total level difference before ordering.

Planning and fitting
- Measure the exposed edges. Include entrances and open sides where the raised floor meets a lower surface.
- Check the finished height. Select the 20mm or 30mm option to match the tile edge and surrounding levels.
- Plan straight runs and corners. Allow for the actual layout, cuts and any separate corner detailing required.
- Allow rubber to acclamitize for 24-48 hrs: Rubber is known to expand and contract, avoid being left with shrinkage and lines left in your design by letting the rubber acclimatise to the rooms temperature before installing.
- Butt Edges Tightly: Butt edges at the joints together tightly to avoid airgaps. Confirm the fixing method. Follow the supplier's installation detail for the ramp and substrate. Mapei ADESILEX G19 is commonly used to bond gym matting to the subfloor. However, do not assume that a tile's connector or loose-lay method also secures the ramp.
Quantity example: a straight 4m exposed edge needs four 1m ramps before any allowance for cuts. A 4.3m run needs at least five ramps. Measure separate runs individually and check whether offcuts can be reused.
