TerraFitยฎ Gym Ramp Edge โ€“ Black โ€“ 1m FAQs

Which height should I choose?

Choose 20mm for a 20mm tile or 30mm for a 30mm tile. The ramps are 100mm wide and come in 1m lengths.

Which TerraFit tiles can I use these ramps with?

Use the matching 20mm or 30mm ramp with TerraFit Duo Grey or Black tiles. The 20mm ramp can also be used with the 20mm TerraFit Square tile; it is not a height match for the 15mm Square tile.

How many ramps do I need?

Each ramp is 1m long. Measure each exposed edge run and round up to whole ramps, allowing for cuts and checking whether offcuts can be reused.

Is the price for one ramp or a complete perimeter?

The price is for one 1m ramp in your selected height. Gym tiles and any separate corner pieces are not included.

Do the ramps need to acclimatise before fitting?

Allow the rubber ramps to acclimatise to room temperature for 24โ€“48 hours before installation. Rubber expands and contracts with temperature changes, so acclimatisation helps reduce movement and gaps after fitting.

How are the ramp edges secured?

Mapei Adesilex G19 is an adhesive option for bonding rubber gym flooring to the subfloor. Confirm suitability for the ramp and substrate with the supplier, and follow the adhesive instructions; do not assume that tile connectors or a loose-laid floor will secure the ramps.

What does the black finish look like?

This version has a plain black surface without the contrasting grey flecks. Use it to finish black flooring or create a contrasting perimeter beside grey fleck tiles.

How should I fit the ramp joints?

Butt adjoining ramp edges tightly together to avoid open joints and air gaps. Mitered for corners. Plan the layout and check the fit before securing the ramps.
