dB Acoustic underlay is our high performance yet cost effective acoustic triple layer matting. This product was launched to maintain high performance for a lower budget. dB Acoustic Underlay is a combination of mass loaded vinyl with a layer of acoustic impact foam sandwiched between the layers.
dB Acoustic Underlay is used under carpet in addition to or instead of standard underlay. Take a look at the video in the scrolling images for more information on how dB Acoustic underlay is installed with carpet.
This high performance underlay is also highly effective when used under laminate or engineered wood.
A similar product to Acoustilay 15. The Soundproof Underlay 15 slightly more cost-effective sound barrier mat for floors, also meeting building regulations.
The product has been tested for the highest acoustic performance and will help reduce both impact and airborne noise.
This insulation mat can be used over both wood and concrete floor construction and should be fitted in accordance with the guidance in the datasheet for maximum results.
