What is db FFR?
dB FFR 10mm Resilient Underlay is a fully recycled rubber designed for use with both soft and hard flooring, such as Engineered Timber, Laminate, Stone Flooring and Carpet.
dB FFR is also used as an acoustic underscreed material for new build construction. In this application the material is laid over the concrete floor with our db RD Flanking strip around the perimeter and the screed poured over the dB FFR. This product can be used when developers are building new build apartments and not enrolled in robust details when they are looking for a cost effective alternative to Robust Details.
It has been designed to absorb footfall noise and increase living standards for Residential and Commercial applications.
The material has a zero OPD (Ozone Depleting Potential) and zero GWP (Global Warming Potential).
The specially selected rubber particles and fibres are designed to give excellent resilience yet utmost compressive strength.
dB FFR 10mm Resilient Underlay has excellent impact noise performance levels on concrete and timber floors.
