Who Is This House Sound-Test Package For?
What Is Airborne Wall Testing?
Airborne sound testing measures how effectively a separating party wall reduces sound passing between adjoining homes. Typical airborne noise includes speech, televisions, music and other everyday household sound.
A controlled sound source is operated in one room while calibrated equipment measures the received sound level in the corresponding room in the adjoining dwelling. Background noise and room characteristics are also considered when calculating the final sound-insulation result.
