M20 Rubber Sheets

M20 Rubber sheets as an acoustic mat designed to be installed as part of an acoustic wall lining. The product allows a good level of airborne sound reduction without losing significant depth on the room where the product is installed.

The team at SIS say:  This is becoming a very popular product and is used as a direct fix to walls in the Residential sector.  As a 20mm rubber product, it offers the separation element needed as well as the mass needed for acoustic products.  A fire rated finishing board gets applied over the top which can be taped & jointed or skim plastered. 

SIS always advise a mechanical fixing is required along with the adhesive. 9 fixings per sheet are suggested. Then simply seal the perimeter with Acoustic Sealant. Always check and be confident of the structural integrity of the wall you are installing onto to ensure it can take the additional weight.
