What is db Matting

dB Matting 12 is a high performing acoustic floor product to be used in Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects.  The dB Matting range has been uniquely engineered to reduce both impact and airborne sound when laid over a structure due to its high density and 12.5kg per sheet weight. This product is ideally suited to under engineered wood & laminate floor finishes. This is due to its low level of compression as it has less than 0.4mm deflection. This gives a stable and solid subfloor to install your timber or laminate floor finish.

To be used with our F3 Adhesive and Acoustilay Perimeter Strip if carpet is to be installed over the top of the dB Matting 12.

dB Matting 12 is very versatile and easy to cut with a sharp long-bladed Trimming Knife.  Score the surface then run through with the knife several times to avoid tearing.

Ensure to check with your floor finish manufacturer if dB Matting is compatible to be laid directly under your specific floor finish.
